Introduction: There is a considerable body of literature on the use of Theory of Constraints and Critical Chain Project Management in Projects, and almost as many acronyms – TOC, CCPM, CCS, CCM, CCS/BM, to name a few. Theory of Constraints was initially controversial and often criticized (see earlier references below) but is now firmly establishing itself, particularly in Risk Management.
